Since the start in 2019, Challenge the Cyber is organized by the National Cyber Security Center and dcypher.
The National Cyber Security Center (NCSC), which falls under the Ministry of Justice and Security, is the central information node and expertise center for cyber security in the Netherlands. The primary target group of the NCSC is central government and the vital infrastructure. The vital sectors are crucial for the proper functioning of Dutch society. The NCSC is internationally the Dutch point of contact in the field of IT threats and cyber security incidents. The NCSC is also a key figure in operational coordination in the event of a major IT crisis and the Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) for the national government. See www.ncsc.nl
The Dutch Cyber Security Platform for Higher Education & Research is a platform that unites researchers, hackers, teachers, students, producers, users and policy makers in the Netherlands to improve knowledge and expertise on cyber security. dcypher provides the (bottom-up) agenda and coordination of scientific and practice-oriented cyber security research and higher education.
